1949年3月，創辦人Mitsugu Tanabe於第二次世界大戰後，他對美國棒球的野心驅使他辭去工作，為棒球用品建立了一家縫紉廠。在日本福井成立了工廠TANABE MERIYASU，在一間小房間裡從三台縫紉機開始做起。憑藉其與生俱來的創造力，他開發了新的縫紉技術和機器，以完成自己的全新設計，同時公司為連續10年參加全國高中棒球錦標賽的每位球員捐贈了長襪，並以產品質量贏得了很高的聲譽，Jackman的縫紉廠現已擁有60多年的歷史。它擁有現代化的機械及舊專業的縫紉機，Jackman是Mitsugu Tanabe創辦人的靈魂下在日本福井成立的工廠品牌。

Jackman 24SS 連帽夾克，採用中等重量的棉與聚酯纖維材料製成，外線採用 20/1 美國棉線和聚酯線的均衡組合，並使用了 Azuma 針織機來創造蓬鬆的紋理，透過使用僅對棉布進行染色的染料，聚酯線保持白色並形成類似於鹽和胡椒的顆粒，偏箱型的輪廓設計，可輕鬆地穿出層次感，營造出輕鬆的氛圍。
