由海瀬亮於2010年創立，並於2011年春夏推出首個系列，品牌初期由清水則之負責設計，他曾在多個品牌擔任版型師，為 Name. 奠定了技術基礎。

Name. 以「感性の共有（共鳴感性）」為核心概念，透過觀察時代、文化與人群，將這些元素轉化為服裝，打造具有獨特視角的設計，品牌不僅追求時裝的創新，更希望透過服飾交流人與人之間的自由詮釋與個性表達。

2018 年，原為品牌主要版型師的山田拓治升任設計師，並由松坂生麻擔任男女裝的總監，2021年春夏系列後，山田離任。

品牌於2023-24年秋冬起，Name. 迎來新時代，由山下佑馬擔任設計總監，持續探索服裝與文化間的對話，為品牌注入新的創意能量。

Name. 26SS新款羊毛長褲，將原本多以棉質呈現的Calm Skin面料以羊毛重新詮釋，保留霧面質感，觸感更加柔軟。側縫線刻意向前偏移，配合疊層拼接與縫份外露，讓原本平面的褲管產生立體輪廓。單褶設定維持寬褲應有的簡潔線條，側縫處配有J型裝飾線，從面料選擇到結構處理都具備高水準的羊毛褲款。
