Battenwear由來自日本東京的設計師長谷川眞也於2011年在紐約成立品牌

品牌理念以製作精良的裝備，與戶外穿著及日常服飾為主。

長谷川眞也對Battenwear的靈感來自1960年代後期至1980年代初的衝浪和戶外服裝，在古著與美式風格盛行的時代下生長的長谷川眞也，非常熱愛其風格，便將這些靈感帶入Battenwear。而他也是熱愛戶外活動的狂熱者，偏向製作功能性佳且穿著舒適，但又不失流行時尚的服裝，每樣商品皆精心設計，且耐用性非常高，經過長時間穿著及洗滌，便可發現Battenwear的耐用性。
