WAKAMI


設計師Maria Pacheco 因經歷了內戰的殘酷，希望可以藉由WAKAMI的飾品將製造者與全世界的人們連結起來，在未來，世界上貧窮的國家都可以變得繁盛，因而創立WAKAMI，改善瓜地馬拉的生活水準，作品深受傳統民族風與中美文化的紡織技巧啟發，材料多使用蠟繩及玻璃珠，全程手工製造，呈現出風格鮮明的休閒風格。

關於編織蠟繩


WAKAMI單品中，多以蠟繩做編織加工，而蠟繩的製成，是在聚酯纖維線上塗上一層蠟，塗上蠟之後，以提升蠟繩的強度及防水性，表面上蠟後，多配戴幾次後會越來越柔軟。

EYE GLASSES CHAIN 


多功能眼鏡鍊，使用編織蠟繩與金屬製成，蠟繩的兩端設有橡膠的彈性圈，可用於固定眼鏡鏡腳或是已打結的口罩，做為眼鏡鍊及口罩鍊使用，鏈身中間有一皮環可用於調節長度，也可以應用皮環將眼鏡鍊變為項鍊使用，提供多種用法，相當適合日常搭配使用。
